Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA)

Ages 6–17; a child may start at the beginning of the year they turn 6, or by their 6th birthday.
There is no annual report. Instead, the VRQA reviews around 10% of registrations each year at random (by desktop, phone, or video review), checking evidence across the 8 learning areas.
Registration is ongoing until 31 December of the year the child turns 18, with annual continuation confirmed by email.
The VRQA advises keeping your child enrolled at school until registration is confirmed — check with the VRQA for current guidance.
